2 Outreach Driver Positions Open: (1) Full-Time 32 Hours Per Week (1) Part-Time 25 Hours Per Week
Summary of the position
Deliver home delivered meals, following assigned route
Accept participant contributions for meals, and return to Administrative personnel
Provide meal deliveries following COVID-19 safety protocols
Support kitchen staff with meal preparation and packing
Maintain food safety during transport and delivery
Coordinate with the Food Service Operations Manager to log and report food temperatures
Load and unload delivery vehicles, and clean meal delivery containers
Maintain vehicle maintenance and travel logs, and ensure that vehicles maintain fuel, proper air pressure in tires, and cleanliness
Deliver bulk meals to the community congregate dining room locations
Coordinate with the Food Service Operations Manager, and Kitchen Personnel to support meal packing activities
Attend staff meetings and trainings, including ServSafe and Safe Driving, as assigned
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent. Must have a NYS driver’s license for at least 3 years with a good safety record
A collaborative and flexible work style
Good sense of humor is a plus
Experience with food services and sanitation is a plus
Experience working with older adults, individuals living with disabilities, and diverse populations are preferred
We offer $15.72/per hour for this position. Benefits for both positions include a generous amount of personal and vacation days per calendar year.
