New Foodnet Executive Director

Jessica Gosa

I am pleased to introduce myself as the new Executive Director of Foodnet Meals on Wheels! Thank you, to our Foodnet Community for your participation, support, and leadership.  You are the heart of this organization, and I look forward to getting to know you over the coming months.

I feel honored to join this dynamic team, which promotes such an important mission and vision.  In this new role, I am committed to embracing Foodnet’s foundation that has been so carefully shaped and nurtured for many years.

Under Steve Griffin’s leadership, Foodnet provides more than a meal, and I plan to build from his legacy to ensure that Foodnet continues to provide quality services.

I have lived in the Ithaca community for about seven years, but I am a native to West Virginia.  Most recently, I worked in a small consulting firm in Ithaca that focuses on social science research, and evaluation.  Prior to this role, I managed the Caregiver Counseling, Respite, and Geriatric Care Management Programs at Family and Children’s Service. My other prior professional experiences include work in social services, and community healthcare in Baltimore, MD.  I learned early on in my career that being involved in work that is meaningful is most important.  There is no other place that I would rather be, and I look forward to making this commitment to Foodnet.
